Texas Tech has a decent defense.....a future NFL quarterback......and possibly the best receiver in the country.....they get Oklahoma State and Oklahoma the next 2 weeks......if they win those a #1 ranking has to be considered.....biggest thing to happen in Lubbock since Buddy Holly died.

I can't really fault Cal's performance. Good defense; had their best offensive play negated by a totally suspect call. And USC was given a freebie with that first touchdown; the replay showed pretty clearly that the ball hit the ground first.b, 21b, 21If USC wins next weekend and we beat Oregon State we will be tied for 2nd in the Pac-10, but we will have beat the one team to have beat USC, so that may serve as a tie-breaker. With any luck USC goes to the nat'l championship (yeah right) and we go to Pasadena.
