huh? the kids you just posted actually are pretty decent, especially compared to everybody else in the thread. id say that last pic is the best example of NOT taking it too far.

no...those kids crossed the line
plaese to elaborate.
- crazy all over print [disposable fashion] shirts - size smedium shirts - loud colors - cazal frames, what is he, 18??? he wasn't even born when those came out - that kids chain & pendant, not even a gram in weight! why are you flossin a thread? - gucci scarf, you cold?
if dudes weren't all "hip-hop" with it and had some nice tones w/o graphics they'd pass, but this is that "loud" junk that's killin kids minds these days.
Anybody besides Ako under the age of 30 post on this yet?
i'm 20, and i'm actually into streetwear. i found those pictures on rocksmith's website and i'm wearin one of their shirts right now. one of my favorite brands. the first pic is straight ridiculous to me and the second one was aimed at the dude in the middle. i have that shirt on the left. i just think those huge scarfs look dumb and extremely played at this point. and the bigass glasses people are wearin these days, not . some of these kids just take it way too far.

im not a fan of all-over prints either, and chains/pendants are usually dumb, but other than that i dont really have a problem with anything else going on there.
true. im not really a fan of shirts with stuff on them anyway...i cant remember the last time i wore a shirt with anything printed on it. im so glad i passed this trend by. (although i will admit that when all-over print hoodies very first started showing up i kinda liked them for a little bit. never had one however.)
scarfs are played, i dont rock them, but i dont really have an issue with people still wearing them. theyll never get old on girls, and if guys can rock them just right i dont have a complaint. sometimes they get over-the-top. to each their own though.
I kind a have a thing for scarves. Although I have always lived in places that have a pretty bitchin winter season, so it's kinda been more of a necessity than anything. Loud colors don't bother me that much when used in moderation, but "fashuns" are for individuals, do what you want, if everybody dressed the same shit would be real boring.
i cant wait these kids are old, cranky, and stuck in their ways too. i can see it now...
- plain tee (dude, wheres the print!?) - size XXL shirts - earth tones - all-over print hoodie, what is he, 18??? he wasn't even born when those came out - that kids chain & pendant, 10 lbs. of 24k gold! doesnt your neck hurt? - no scarf. you hot?
The scarves that are really played are the palestinian support I am wearing an italian restaurants tablecloth round my neck scarves, more of a neckerchief.
All other scarves/bandanas, fair game in my opinion!

nicely said. i tend to not diss anybody's style (or lack of) unless they are TRYING to be fashionable and CAN NOT pull it off. then i just think its funny mostly because it looks like a train wreck. some of the people in this thread definitely fell into this category. but if theyre comfortable bein themselves, thats cool.
like its been said, all-over print tees are done, i dont like em, but the dudes rocking them in that recent pic looked happy, cool, and natural, so more power to them. even if something is "over" for the general public, if a cat can rock it as his own, im fine with it.

hahahaha. a sure-fire way to know if something is played out is if my store recieves it in a new shipment. we got a box of those a couple months ago.....although there was a black/green one that was actually kinda cool!
YOU WANNA READ UP ON ALL KINDS OF FASHION VICTIMS???
That's actually a picture of a couple of my friends, Samantha (second from right) and Chris (far left) from Fruition.
They're a hardworking young couple who own there own little boutique store out here called Fruition. Looks like a picture of them here at the Project show.
I think they have excellent taste in streetwear, and Sam is probably one of the illest people i know in town. They're singlehandedly bringing back a lot of the early 90's hip hop trends. Take that for what you will.

funny thing is, i dont see a single "good look" in this whole photo!

now HERE'S something i'd love to never see again, these kanye glasses.
i think theyre just too instantly recognizable, too much of a novelty, and the shape is just a bad design.
