    totally untypical for stax but from the funk point of view definitely the best stax release.

    this was about "what you like more" and in all fairness is not nice hearing people school others on what they suppose to like .... if one prefers the MGs sans Booker T stuff to Otis Redding does it means they are lil dude or something ?

    Impossible, too many to choose from and different enough that it can change as frequently as moods and seasons.

    This guy I know sez he saw Lena Zavaroni on several talk shows around the time her Stax LP came out, and claims she was on some serious Jon Benet Ramsey steez, as far as the way she was presented...
