    Are you familiar with TapeOp?
    http://www.tapeop.com

They often feature interviews with engineers and producers, and the magazine also features ads from various studios who will master for vinyl, regardless of the source.

I know of one engineer who will do it for free, the only catch is that you have to have the record pressed through the company he works for.

Are you familiar with Barry Diament? He did a lot of mastering and remastering for Atlantic, and now does things independently:

I am considering him for my next project (if I can ever finish it), even if it's just an EP since I like what he has done.

You guys are listed on the main website too. I know I've seen his name before, I'll have to look over the list again and see if I have anything else he has worked on. Thank you for the link.

Metropolis in London and D&M (Dubplates & Mastering) in Berlin are both great, I have friends who have mastered house 12"s with both of them. D&M are perfectionists but apparently they can be a little quirky to deal with.

    oh....since were on the subject...

does anyone have someone they use for mastering entire dj mixes? as in making sure its loud while retaining dynamics, making sure the frequencies dont jump around too much from track to track, etc.

Ive got a mix a distributor has interest in. trying to make it sound nice...

If your trying to keep it low budget I could do that for ya. I'll send you an example of a mix I did the same for.

But my budget i guess is like 150-300 bucks.
