In my world there is - the standards of "beauty" for porn stars is much lower than for models/actresses/the chick next door, in my experience. Think even of the difference between porn stars who will only do solo/lesbian scenes and those who will do hardcore.
I meant more than both are "unattainable" in their own way. I'd imagine that many porn stars - in "real" life - are nothing like their on-screen persona.
I seen her in an elevator of a friends apt about a year ago and she told me she found "God". I know you will all ask who it is. Her name is Dahlia Grey.
Aaah, so that's why she hasn't done anything in awhile. She was the "face" for awhile, and it seemed Aria Giovanni had taken over the soft-core stuff. I expected something more... well, anything but the voice I had heard. Oh well.

Some of them just don't have the looks, but again that's how I feel. Some guy running a company is probably saying "okay, she's perfect for 8th Street Latinas " or "I think she'd be hot with Jeff for the next Black Bachelor video", and they do not have the body or the looks of someone like Tera Patrick, who to me is ideal (with or without makeup). They look "average" to me, although someone I think is very attractive will probably not move the next person.
Plus, it's all about the fantasy. There's always a thread like this every few months, and someone will always say "I've seen better when I was in school" or "There's someone here at work, in the next cubicle, who probably has more stamina than everyone in a HideBehind gallery combined". You either find someone who has what you're looking for in someone, or go hunt down the fantasy. Or if your significant other speak about your fantasies and you're both willing to explore, do your thing. I may not do what you do or like what you like, but I'm not going to stop someone from having their fun.
