spring is finally here...and the records are coming out of hibernation along with all the hipsters. i scores this crazy collection of 80s hardcore and punk, obscure reggae, and good hip hop yesterday for cheap. hanging around record store tactic paid off. sorry for the wack images...my camera doesn't know how to handle all this sunlight after so many months of dark winter. or maybe it's my fault.

nice find on that Agnostic Front. I bought that new in '82 or whenever it came out. Used to have the Ill Repute and a couple of others, too.
Now if you could find an SSD - Get It Away, I'd really like a cd-r of that.
Best scream ever on a LP right away, and the guitars are friggin' beautifully unmerciful.....
Nice and very cheap...best part is I still have a chunky stack of West Coast electro and bay rap stuff still on hold! (yes I am POOR) From my 'secret' Frisco spot, hee hee
That Poison Idea record is amazing if memory serves and try listening to all of Kamikaze Dub on 45 - I think it sounds better than on 33.
The Hugh E?
It's got Gangsta-matic, H- Nigga Groove, etc. Awesome frisco record, but it's on Soul-Sonic recs.
The only thing on In - A - Minute that I can think of with "criminal" in the title is MC Pooh, "Life Of A Criminal".
That one's dope too.
...shit is
Challengers "Vanilla Funk" (GNP)..fuzzed out "Soulful Strut" and other cool covers

I swore Huey E had a record on In a Minute but I'm probably trippin. Does a 12 for MC Pooh "Fuckin With Dank" exist?? I want that.

There is a 12" for FWD but I've never ran across it.
I really gotta find FWD. I think I know who might have it too. The huey mc on your mix cd is the dope one. The one with the superfly samples.
i believe they were a group from guadeloupe. put out quite a few albums, some funk tunes on a couple. Always liked that particular one- Jambolo and Massa are my favorite tunes. no biggie but nice west indian cadence. cool find!

You have a 66.6666666% chance of guessing one correctly on the first try...
And the Oddball item of the day, is this "gospel rock" LP from 1970, produced by none other than Allen Toussaint...interesting record with some good tracks, heavy Christian lyrics:
This guy, Mylon LeFevre, is a true character...check him out today:
