This keeps going for 50+. What's the story? I liked this LP, but I though it kind of got over looked. Is it the Gorillaz connection that's driving the price.

I own this record and never listen to it. A lot of heads slept when it came out. It has Del, Kid Koala and Dan the automator all on the one record. Its like a novelty thing. I will gladly sell my copy for 50+

Geeze - I had no idea this had gone up to that. Even 12 months ago that shit was all over the net, and I still see second hand copies at fairs from time to time.

That's driving the price? Or making it doo-doo?

    Whatever happened to the Automator?

There was a period shortly after this came out that he seemed to be all over the place.

    --Deltron
    --Handsome Boy Modeling School
    --Lovage
    --Gorillaz
--He even had a DJ mix that wasn't half bad

The last shit I copped from him was White People w/ Prince Paul.

    Post-Hip Hop nonsense.

    i dunno

Dr Oct is classic isht. although its about the only Kool Keith i like.

Gorrilaz first LP is some of his most polished and highest selling isht also classic with a great dub sound, love that harmonica.

Lovage is decent and you can't really hate on the first Handsome Boy LP

Delton3030 is the epitomy of nerd hop tho i must admit....

That's what I find odd. There are no shortage of listings, they just keep going for $50.

  • Yeah, I noticed the Deltron price jump recently...I bump Deltron quite a bit when it came out. I don't really know why Automator gets hatted on so much, I've always thought he was an above average consistant producer. Whateva though, everyone has different tastes.

I don't really know why Automator gets hatted on so much,

Because hip-hop devoid of any funk sensibilities is basically the pits.

I don't mind either of the artists involved in that record. It just didn't really age that well at all.

this album was boring as hell when it came out, and it still is now...I listen to "Virus" occasionally, that's about it. I can't handle Del's voice for more than a few songs at a time anyway...
