  All i know is that my family all went outta town for a few days, wife, and (at this point only) two kids all gone. Im down in the basement w/ the turntables and sampler turned on kinda flipping through the sample-fodder but really paying more attention tot he swisher that i was working on. The mpc 60 is a huge beast and w/ the nice stand i can kick the angle back, throw a lp up there and break up the weed etc..im getting blunted alone in my basement. My basement is a murky place that no female has ever willingly gone into twice. the entrance by stairs is unusually steep and shod w/ ancient carpet stained by the one hundred thousand keg parties that were thrown in this house before we took residence. the basement is large only in its length, the cieling is low and akward due to a false paneling system the covers HVAC wiring etc. the walls of the room are of varied finishes, wood finished and unfinished, brick of all ages and colors, corkboard, shellac'd hunk o tree, but somehow its still VERY unimpressive. The carpeting is assuredly recycled and probably from a casino judging the bright patterning and intense wear. (for example look past in the profile pic over left.) nothing in this room fits and on this evening i had only lived in this house for a few weeks. i was uncomfortable in this basemnt even w/ my blunt and i thought about the certified 'crazy people' that lived in my house before i did. this house was rented out to use as a group home for 'crazy people'. this is only relevant to understand the wierd vibes that this house has by the pound. the things that happened then im not sure i understand. likley through some exchange of my audio path going in and out of the mixer, the mpc, the turntables a very distnct and not surprisingly startling sound was heard. That feed back was bizarre and sounded like human speech. it actually sounded like it was saying my name and i was freaked. i know it was a feedback loop in my gear going apesh!T but i turned my stuff off and had to go upstairs. paranormal i doubt it but i didnt try to get my set-up to do that again..
