Currently working for 2weeks to see how it goes with H.I.S. One of the bigger Japanese tourism companies. The strict Japanese manners and business attitude is NO JOKE. Shi-t, i can talk Japanese, but these dudes are like straight off the boat. It is just mentally grueling and stressful as hell. I'm thinking i'll make some pocket change and bounce, and look for an accounting job again (at a U.S. company).
in less than 3 weeks I'll be leaving for Guinea where I will enjoy the peace and quiet of living without telephone or internet but with a sea view terrace, a pool and a truckload of cuban rum.
Guinea?! I spent time there and although it has it's ups (some great people) take some time to slide across to Senegal and Mali. And my sincere advice would be to stay the fuck away from the Ivory Coast - lived there for two years during some very turbulent times and from what I hear from friends there it's got worse. Oh and Lagos is not a fun city. Great move though - West Africa isn't on most people's tourist itinerary and you will have the most interesting of times in that region. It is a crazy part of the world but fantastic.
I work at the Asbury Park Press, 2nd largest daily newspaper in NJ, in the information systems dept. I do Help Desk, project coordination and database creation/management. It's as thrilling as it sounds.
I just came on as Senior Audio Tech at a company in San Diego doing live sound and corporate events. Right now, I've doing FOH for a summer show at Seaworld, so I can drop some knowledge on how to properly mic up a blowhole. I've done a ton of boring corporate shows but get some cool music stuff once ona while. I'm working Comic Con at the SD Convention Center, so that should be cool. Anyone else gonna be there?
I'm really tryign to build up my sudio contacts down here and at some point would love to do the studio thing full-time, but it might be few years before that's sustainable for me and my familia.
I work at Burton Snowboards as a Brand Marketing Manager.
Whoa. Have you ever met Terje ?
Many times. He also has a place down the road from my uncle in Kauai so I see him in Hanalei when ever I'm there.
Chill dude and a legend in the sport.
He is one of my heroes fo sho.
I dont suppose you could maybe ask the dude if he has the tracklist for the soundtrack to his vid The Haakonsen Faktor, which Dj Greyboy mixed for him......
Damn that soundtrack is slamming.
I recently asked for a song ID for the intro to Faktor.
i heard you all take office days off to go riding sometimes..... is true?
I ride in the morning anytime there is snow. It's true. I wouldn't work here if I couldn't ride. I got in about 70+ days this past season and I'm heading to New Zealand at the end of the month.
I am an Automotive Service Technician, which is the new name for Mechanic, here in Ontario. I work at an independant shop, about 45 minutes outside of Toronto. Been at it for five years now, got licenced last year as soon as i finished the 9000 hour apprenticeship. We pretty much work on anything from motorcycles to 18 wheelers.

Gear for records all day.
I would give up all my records in a flash to be able to rider powder every day. That's no joke.
