White Noise - An Electric Storm appreciation

Anybody else ride for this one? Something about it really grabbed me when I first got it. It's been a favorite of mine for awhile now. It's bugged out, but still kind of quirky and fun. It's got some upbeat ones and some pretty damn depressing stuff. The production and recording techniques are

    first heard about this LP from some amazing tape i got in NYC in '99 (i was 12) finally heard the whole thing a couple years ago. love it.

    It's been a favorite of mine for awhile now.

    Also really dug the backstory behind Delia Derbyshire and this album... her working thru the ranks of the BBC, to cutting this LP, to her TV work, etc... this LP at times feels like a children's record gone horribly awry to me... or maybe that's just because I make a point of burnin a miniature forest down before I put it on...

    But ultimately can't hate on the woman who created some of the most memorable TV theme music of my childhood....
