    That's pretty hot that you went from posting it online last week to being played on Sirius a few days later.
    Congrats. You should definitely make a b-side. And then collect all of those album sampler tracks you used to have up and release a collection of your works.

    I don't know. You posted a 320 file the other day and it has no label or release. Tough arguing against them playing it. It's good for you either way. No harm no foul.

    It was probably a strutter or a lurker.

    Does sirius need to approve songs before airplay? I'm assuming it's like regular radio and you just play things and report what you played.

    if you had this song already registered with ascap or bmi or whatever, you could get some performance royalties, but besides that nothing to be mad at. Did you tell your girlfriend that you loaded a 320 file of it for free download on the internet?

    I've actually had the short clip you gave me a long time ago on my ipod. Whenever it came on I would think "damn, this needs to get finished!". Glad you did it my dude.

    Great that they are playing your music - it will be tracked and reported by Sirius. Once you are signed up with ASCAP etc and hit a certain number of plays you are due a (tiny) cheque. My company is currently finishing up on a label-sanctioned playout reporting system which also makes it possible for artists to check their own radio plays.
