Also feeling like dumping some HEAT in the records dept, who is most fair in the cash dept. days for heavy titles? (Moods for Drama, iMLs, ExOvos, French Heat, Etc...) need to pick up some new gear, so some heat gotta go!

Try Good Records first... then Big City or Sound Library....

those are your best bets for that kinda gear... trade or sale...

    peace.

the type of stuff he's describing seems more suited for big city or tsl, jonny isn't big on "beat" oriented stuff, esp. library records.

  • Yeah I am definitely not the best place to bring Library records. I would try Jared or Rob first. Honestly though you picked the wrong time to sell, this shit isn't nearly a hot as it used to be.

  • No worries...
I mean, heat is heat right?
    haha.
If I can't get "decent" amounts I will just hold onto stuff, but really, I just need a little bit of coin for the flip on some gear. I will try TSL first.
    Thanks dudes, as usual.

  • just to let people know what exactly we are talking about, this is some of the stuff I am going to flip....

    Cobra Rouge - (Cobra)
I bought this from TSL last week.

I'm surprised no one mentioned A-1.

  • I used to buy stuff at A1 everytime I was in NY, but the last couple of times I was in there, it seems like I was just put on sucker status for whatever reason... I think I am gonna pass on A1 either way.

CUZ A-1 neva have $$$$ to drop on heat in the shop
issac got the dough an he neva there

  • Yeah, I think its more just about the fact that when I used to go there years ago, some dudes would treat you cool, even if you were a total "nobody"... and the last couple times I was there it was like, cats SCRAMBLING to impress random ass japanese tourists looking for overpriced hiphop records that they should have BEEN HAVING in their collections.

I mean, really, to each his own, but I prefer to deal dudes with that are cool and happen to run their things quality, than to just go somewhere to be buying stuff there, you know?

Progressive Percussions Vol.2 - Eddie Warner - (iML)

somebody should jump on this. great title that you don't see too often.

  • For what it's worth Seth and them are mad cool and doing great things for A-1. Last time I was there I saw great records and the prices are really fair.

I'm interested in some of those records, I'll shoot you a PM in a bit...

  • I mean, the shop has always been no joke, that is for sure.
It is quite possible that i caught dudes at bad times, as I generally only visit about 2 times a year...
    Maybe Ill swing by.
