I decided to get myself a Christmas present and get the WP hardbound book of choice articles from the past few years. I'd been eying it but I have the issues, for the most part, and it seemed unnecessary. Well, I broke down and bought it and it came yesterday...with a big ole PUMA logo on the cover.WTF. How irritating.

Doesn't that also carry the Puma logo? It sounds like this is the major bone of contention.....I don't know why it would be, but it seems like it is.

Really, I couldn't care less about the Puma logo, hell I'd probably still cop if it sported a McDonalds logo or something.

finally got the album cover book in the mail.
some interesting choices, some not so interesting.
i guess its boils down to a personal preference thing.
    still definitely worth the $20.

also, do you know if vol.2 of the anthology in the works?
yes. i realize vol.1 just hit store shelves, but im more curious
to know if its even being thought of.

    consumerist weakness

Is this some nasty way of saying "needed outside
financial support?" It's not cheap to produce a
large-format hardcover book on high-quality paper.
I have to assume the magazine barely breaks even,
so I'm not going to get all asshurt if they needed
to sell advertising to get the Anthology out there.

I think that was one of his reasons for buying the anthology despite the fact that he already owns the issues the material is culled from. In other words, dude has trouble not buying what people are trying to sell him.

I haven't heard if a Vol 2 is in the works...my guess is not for the immediate future.

Since my piece is in this book, does that make me a published author?
