great. why are you posting this?

  • That was nice. Now I want to see some hip-hop cello, run through some effects pedals as if they were heavily influenced by Joelle Leandre, played over some Grover Washington Jr. circa 1975 or Stanton Moore live recordings downloaded from eTree.

I don't know... I guess because it was DJ/Hip Hop related and it was pretty well done. But next time I'll be sure to PM you first to see of a post approval.

  • I thought this post was gonna be about A-trak & Miri Ben-Ari...

The flute player belongs in a marking band.

I thought it was alright, does he (or they) have anything out?

Now that I liked a lot. Not enough breaths inbetween the flute (because I demand the "doot doot doot" with a lot of "AH" and "ung, HEH") but...

    j/k

    Who were these guys?

this dude is playing a viola, or he has a small head
only heard his first few moments alone, but he sounds like
and is a top shelf player, violas can sound really shitty in the wrong hands.

also congratulations on posting a video that broke through the work patrol, it's the only one I can see on the board. I think digg.com and some of them are under their radar.

Im in the dark about this scene, but the writing nowadays is on the youtube comments wall I suppose!

I did see those Nuttin' But Stringz dudes when they were on Apollo, is that where it took off?
