YO! can someone big up NY for me...

I remember a couple threads about NYC being a rich asshole's paradise... I never saw it that way.. I plan on returning for a visit this late Feb early March.. Please to give me an update... is the Lower East still fun? Is Brooklyn just a bunch of Hipsters? Please tell me it aint so!!!

    Yo,

    I think NYC gets a bad rap, and I say this as a North Carolina native who has visited NY a number of times over the years. Yeah, it has its urban problems like other places, but I've always had a good time there, and found folks to show love. True, NYers can be a little off-putting initially (on occasion), but once you slide past the distrustful veneer, they are genuinely cool peoples. I find NY , a cultural mecca of worldwide prominence, where you can see a Broadway show, visit a world-reknown art museum, take a show from a musical icon, and get a mindblowing stromboli from a local pizzeria. What more could you ask for? Note, I don't live there but in nearby Dirty Jerz, so dwellers have great insights than I do (and may view it differently; disclaimer-related).

    NYC is the greatest city in the world! Yes, The LES is still fun. Go eat at Katz's deli and then go drinking all night.

    there's definitely no shortage of rich asshole, but for every rich asshole, there's at least 3 jobs for regular people. That keeps it alive. Were running out of space tho.

    Visiting is way diff than living. Brooklyn is still evolving.
    Money Makin Manhattan is what it is. Alot of cats dont really take advantage of the entire island.
    Queens has the best cuisine in the 5 boros.
    The Bronx still maintains a Warriors-Era dirtiness that is the last remnant of the Realz.
    Staten Island is the Undiscovered Country.

    And yes, the beautiful ladies level is off the hook.

    They shouldnt. What colorways are u lookin 4? Or nothin really specific, just somethin flavorful?

    I got the red and white now but really like the green and white. Yea, anything nice and no pink or purple. I definitely do not keep my sneakers pristine, they're not on their last legs or anything, but it is time for a new pair.
