Stuff I've been workin on recently some isn't that new, some isn't too finished...I only sample drums on these tracks the rest is my playing aside from vocals and sfx.
got myself an akai s950 yesterday and hooked it up with the sp1200.. sampled the clean tone from the s950, pitched it down, recorded to the sp and plaed the bassline on the pads:

Here is a new one that I'm working on. Melody is from the Akira OST, drums fromt he strut, turntable-like gargling noise from the radiator in my apartment, very quiet keys from a casiotone. I'm into peaceful sounds for the most part.

Sounds clean. Not sure if I like the note reapeat thing but you added some nice variations so it doesn't sound too repetitive. What mpc did you use? 3000?

i use the 1000. i'm undecided on the chorus too if that's what you're talking about. i like it on it's own but maybe it doesn't fit with the feel of the rest of it?
