producer/musician-strut: RECORDING - YOU or PRO?

Do you record your own tracks and do the mix yourself or do you take it to a pro studio for mixing then mastering? I do all my own recording and mixing but have a pro do the mastering. Im alright, but prefer to have the last steps taken care of by pro engineers.

    It's about the MONEY.

    My job is making beats, songs, etc.

    An engineer will always get a better sound than me, I believe... :-)

    This is me as well, though if I'm having trouble with the mix, I will sit down with an actual engineer and work out the kinks.

    I don't think I can get any of my work to sound as good if I didn't take it to a studio.
