  • Hello, I like this song a lot. I've never heard of this before, but I must be sleeping because 2 people whipped out the mp3 in a matter of minutes. What do you call this kind of music? I would like to hear more like it.


    Also, her voice is strange, but cool.

    "Something On Your Mind," from her In My Own Time LP, almost alone justifies its market value (which had noticably dropped after the reissue was released). It's arguably the best track she ever released, certainly (to me) the best one on this album. Her first album, It's So Hard To Tell Who's Going To Love You The Best is easily the better of the two, on the whole. For one thing, it has less of the over-bloozy, sepia-toned "let's give the barmaid a shot on the mike!" vibe.
