you know, with all the outboard preamps, compressors, big board, multiple sets of monitors... Man I've always wondered how much these dudes spend a month on electricity! damn...

    i don't have an answer. But i talked to someone like this who's rich. I was bitching about money and said something like , at least you can pay your electricity bill. His reply was "well, I use a lot of electricity.". Makes you think. ho hum ho hum..

    Truthfully, I got a lot of gear, and most of this shit doesn't draw that much power.
    The main issue with home studios is getting CLEAN power, which may cost you an arm and a leg to setup. I figure on average I spend about 10$ more per month when I am working in my studio non stop.
