sorry no audio but below is a picture of my favorite 45, get on up a nice funky dancer with a shouting intro that goes "hey yall i want everyone sitting around moaning and groaning about the worlds situation in vietnam, unemployment, and all other complications i want you to get up, get on up, and move"
get on up is great but i prefer the flipside, this would mean so much is some raw deep soul with a great backing track to compliment it, it's my favorite shit, wish i had audio to share
The only reason I like the vanessa label is because it contains a nice chuck of oliver sain's production credits. I still need the eddie fisher third cup piece.
just sold one those eddie fishers on ebay for about $35, also sold one on the label by the bubble gum machine which is some little kid funk, by the way another good one on vanessa is the jo anne lewis, it has a later 70's sound but is still pretty good

I never really dug the 'Freakish love' cut - always thought it was kinda cheesey.....I far prefer the flip;

Thank you. I'm all in favor of this thread turning into an "all Eddie Bo / eff Aaron Fuchs" string of love.
Anyone with Bocage/Seven B/Scram/etc. rarities, please help out.

Done did, check page one...I will post a few more 2nite though.
I can't complain... I would have definitely shared some stuff had I not been so technically-challenged.
Stoked on that Turner Brothers joint and both sides of the Rhythm Machine 45. The other stuff? Not so much...

whoa how'd you figure it out???
um..yeah
i'm not sure if this is really considered funk but it's still a dope record.
this is one of my most favorite records that came out of the bay area (stockton). waymond halls voice kills me. just so full of emotion.
just ask nicely if you wanna get d-slapped! you wanna roll to village today?
yes. I always waffle when it comes to which side to drop. usually the vocal wins though.
wow... i had waffles this morning too!
