I'm thinking about getting into the T-Shirt game. I've got collage material I've been collecting for over 17 years and I think this would be a great way to use some of it.I'm thinking about scanning it in and messing with it in PS or Illustrator then printing them up on shirts. My main question is what's a good scanner for the job? I know diddly about scanners. Any general T-Shrt production or marketing knowledge would be greatly appreciated as well.Anyone here do that for a hobby or a living? Share your experiences.thanks and peace

A local shop by me will scan your images in for a fee. May want to go that route. They have been using vinyl printing instead of ink printing for their production. It looks good, but is not as fresh as screen printing ink.

Find a good source for quality shirts. I've been using american apparel shirts, from a local shop.

Also try this for starters: Stencil Pro

I would love to find a source to trade new T-shirts.

  • I'll check it out, thanks.

Is your Avatar a T-shirt? It would be a nice one.
