I'm putting together a covers mix of different stuff for my Funky Sole gig this weekend and wanted to slap together a small Byrd tribute set. I'm definitely bringing the St. Latinaires version of "Hot Pants - I'm Coming" plus Byrd's cover of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." I might bring his cover of King Coleman's "Hang It Up".Any other suggestions from folks? I wish there was a cover of "I Know You Got Soul" (though I guess I could jsut bring Eric B and Rakim).
