heard Power Flower for the first time today what a godamned song! can people drop knowledge on this album, it was written for a soundtrack i guess... saw a youtube clip of him singing in it

    Probably one of Stevies most misunderstood projects. There's few times you ever really see Stevie with his glasses off, and this video had him walking through the forest really just Stevie how you normally wouldn't recognize him. I've been contemplating getting a stevie tattoo for a little bit, but I've been waiting to find an artist who can really do it justice. I'll probably have to commission someone to do the sketch, and then find a capable tattoo artist. Any of you guys friends with Byroglyphics?

    Its a great album when i find the right mood to play it.

    Nah, im sayin its a wide ranged, all over the place album. I have to get up the patience to sit thru it all.
    And when i do, i can enjoy his effort.

    I can imagine what i would sound like if it were condensed,but that's not his vision.

    Do everyone's copies have side 1 w/ side 4 on the flip....and 2 w/ 3 ?

    I have always rode for this record. I don't file it with my other Stevie titles. I keep it in the OST section. It fits better there among all my wierd Vangelis and Nina Rota records.

    yes...that's due to the record players they had back in the day that you could load the whole album set and listen to it in one sitting without getting up to flip the record over

    This thread made me pull it out again for the first time in years. Just listened to it front to back two times. It's great. I always liked it, and I still do. Besides all the bugged out stuff like "Venus Fly Trap And The Bug", it's got a lot of straight up melodic Stevie songs like "Send One Your Love" or the title song.

    Anyone ever see the docu that the music was made for? The whole concept is pretty wild. I'd like to see it.
