East bay: What the fuck was that sound?

I'm in the Berkeley Hills and the craziest air raid type alarm just reverberated all over the place. Anyone know what that was all about?

    I didn't hear anything, but they do test the air raid sirens every so often and if you're near one it is real loud.

    Lawrence Livermore Lab. They do a test siren every 6 months or so usually followed by a "This was just a test" message that nobody can hear.
