record stores in taos, nm? (short notice related)

Just wondering if anyone knows of any stores in the Taos area worth checking out? Or even restaurants. I'm going on a road trip tomorrow and it looks this is the only city of any scale that we'll be hitting in the next few days, not really sure where we go afterwards. I'm sure we'll find some thrift/antique stores a long the way, etc. Thanks

    taos has one record store on the main strip (paseo del norte), pretty sure they only sell cds but you might get some info. you'd be lucky to find a thrift store. there's better hunting in Santa fe, and more in Burque. main thing in taos is green chile: its in everything, even the beer. it will get you high if you eat too much

    rumor has it that there's a guy in santa fe with a mindblowing collection of soul 45's but at this point it is only legend.
