SanUlLim - Appreciation post...

who's up on SanUlLim... I got the first 3 albums which are fire from the sounds of things, I know there are 12 in the series, any past the first 3 worth checking. Anyone else know about other records from Asia that sound like this ish?!?peace.

    The first 5 are good......the later ones are rubbish...you have the cream of the crop with the first three.

    You haven't heard fuzz guitar until you've heard these guys.

    word... i wouldn't be suprised if people jump on the wagon in a year or two on this, I see these records going for practically peanuts on eBay all the time, I just copped the first 3 off the strength. Might get 4 and 5 too...

    What other Korean shits out there?

    Bev there's quite a lot of Korean records thats hot from I have encountered.

    Anything from dsico funk, to funky soul/pop, to psych guitar freakout, to drum breaks.

    im waiting for the first two LPs to arrive in the post from one of our good brothers over at waxidermy. .. im dead excited. i heard a couple of tracks and it sounded like there was some demon fuzz on them...

    I only have the first one... been meaning to pick up 2 and 3. They're the best I've heard from Korea... the rest is bad garage bands.

    I used to work at a korean restaurant in baltimore and we had sanullim on constant repeat. Needless to say it was an awesome job.
