imic recording into mac related

just ordered one of these. i was using the ads instant vinyl and it completely crapped out. can anyone ride for the imic to upload vinyl to my mac? thanks in advance.

    Sometimes it ran smooth for me, but most of the time it cut out for a second once every few minutes. The computer couldn't really have been the problem so I don't mess with it anymore.

    From what I've heard Final Vinyl is OK, iMic is decent (not great) audio input... If you are newish Mac you already have an audio input, iMic doesn't have ground or anything for straight turntable to audio device...

    My Imic has worked like a champ, I run it straight out of my mixer to my Mac.
    The recording program that came with it blows, just throw that shit away.
    I've been using Audacity cause I'm to cheap to pony up for "Pro" software,
    no complaints as of yet, but my needs are minimal.

    i just need something to quickly record sides, then convert them to an mp3. i have protools, but i use it for mixes, not recording one song. the instant vinyl was cool, it ripped music quickly then converted to itunes automatically. i'm running through a board, not straight from my mixer. we'll see how it goes. thanks for the help-
