    I was going to say Hugh Masekela at the Skirball Cultural Center, but that's on the 2nd. I looked at the LA Weekly summer concert guide and there's nothing of possible interest (unless you like Clay Aiken or Musiq ).

    I saw Poncho Sanchez/Fransisco Aguabella/and Phil Ranelin all in one day at different venues and for free because of randomly reading a LA Weekly and seeing they were all playing the same day.

    Try and catch I&I Soundsystem. 2 rasta dudes that drive around in a old ice cream truck thats tricked out to be a rolling Soundsystem. Nice guys and great music.
