as with most things with chipotle, tabasko chipotle is not that good.
people need to get over chipotle. it kinda sucks. i think they're doin it wrong.
I have to say I've never met a chipotle hot sauce I've liked, but I could be looking in all the wrong places? I think a homemade one is the way to go. The best hot sauces I've had are homemade.
anyway Tabasco is a rip off. It's like $3-4 a bottle.
steal that shit from Chipotle.
hahaha there's a little chain of yuppie "fresh food" spots called Pluto's out here and they have their own little proprietary pepper sauce which I always used to boost. not a real spicy sauce, but damn good.

Oh yeah, anybody serving wings with Tabasco on them needs to be slapped and then introduced to this...
Ironicly, the restaurant chain "chipotle" is pretty damn good.
no its not.
Hey, give him a break. It's hard to find good Mexican food in San Diego.
Dizzy- that's a serious problem you have there. Hit me on the PM for the super Mexican food spots in San Diego that are way better than the chain Regretto's crap.

saying. diz how you gonna fuck around and go to CHIPOTLE man? one should only go there when absolutely necessary, i.e. no Mexican spots around.
I didn't say it was "authentic" but I did say its pretty tasty, and I stand by that.
p.s. I heard why a certain person won't tell you where he is DJing any more. I laughed my ass off. to 'certain person': if you are reading this, learn to say no to a shot.

hahaha I gotta give it up to "certain person": he reached out (PASUE) and gave me the 411 on his LA gig this weekend (I will be in the area) in exchange for a promise that I won't get him too drunk to operate his microwave.
When i first got to l.a. i was like "wow, tapatio, cholula or whatever? im bout it" but then as i came to my senses i realized that actually they pale in comparisom to tabasco, not the brand x stuff either, the real tabasco, the greatest condiment ever created.
these folks are great we had several cases of a special labeled sauce made thru them (roots raddics "hot we hot") the crystal people were aces & that stuff took about 10 years to turn brown (unopened leftovers related)
lil dudes, it's time to step your hotsauce game up.
you know, people are always saying this kind of stuff, but its like, thats not tabasco. Im sure they are good, and in sure they kill tapatio or whatever, but tabasco is totally different than any of these indie hot sauce brands.
in my opinion its apples and oranges. I like to have other hotsauce on my omlet and stuff too, but to be sure theres always gonna be some tabasco on top of it.

anyway Tabasco is a rip off. It's like $3-4 a bottle. there's always a grip of hot sauces in the $3-4 a bottle price range.
and then there's always like one or two at Safeway for WAAAAY cheaper, like $0.79, like "Ashanti Hot Sauce" which I copped on Monday.
it tastes fine.
I never understood the price disparity since they all have essentially the same ingredients.
Spicy, delicious bacteria.
COSINE. I don't like the flavor of chipotle at all.

yeah nasty artificial "liquid smoke" flavor for days.
habanero, jalapeno, serreno: all good.
chipotle: pass.
chipotle mayonnaise = the grossest shit on the planet
steal that shit from Chipotle.

yeah like it's not even the convenience thing or whatever.
THEIR FOOD SUCKS. the wierd dry minty white rice with the green specks? the dry flavorless chicken? the piddling portions? no salsa bar?
the only thing Chipotle has going for it is free fountain drink with student ID!
hey man what is this stuff called and what kind of pepper is it made from?
I wanna try this.
I'm on this. I think I'll spring for the variety gift pack.
Im with you on that.
This is my favorite, hard to find, has to be special ordered from the V.I.
and I do like chipotle but only buffalo..very heated when done right.
and for folks that are stuck on the Cock Sauce ( which I love )
give these two a try sometime:
not hot really but both have great flavor and can be souped up with spice and still taste awesome
piece of cheese + Cracker + BLACK-teria = blood in poo poo
YES. In my Top Five of hot sauces.
