    i agree, but they only had 2 releases on alternative tentacles and they weren't that great. their earlier studio albums are fantastic though. i'm a big fan

    I love their entire output, but for me they had an updward tragectory re: quality over their career.

    yeah, sorry. i think 'hum of life' is the best. i actually haven't listened to 'those deep buds' in years but i remember it sounding over-produced compared to their other releases and not as confrontational and skronky which what i like about them

    yeah, sorry. i think 'hum of life' is the best. i actually haven't listened to 'those deep buds' in years but i remember it sounding over-produced compared to their other releases and not as confrontational and skronky which what i like about them

    I love the complexity of Buds, but all their albums are terrific. Last time I looked not very many of them were in print in the US, which is a shame. More people need to know about these guys... especially with the Ex finally getting the respect and attention they deserve.
