Ever randomly smell sperm?

You know that sperm smell? Have you ever been sitting there or walking around and all of a sudden caught a whiff of it? Makes me think of the Captain Sky break.Are there other things out there that have a similar odor that I could be smelling? I'd hate to be whatever they are. Reason I'm asking is I just opened some windows and it wafted in from my front porch, I'm wondering if some drunk kids got nasty on my wicker last night in the rain.

    I don't know what it is, but I've never been able to smell the Sperm smell...Wife is blown away by it.

    Today was an important day. Today, we discovered that there is a sperm tree growing outside our institute. This, you must realise, is a harrowing discovery, even for me, a raging poof, who according to stereotypes, is constantly wanting for sperm.

A quick search online, once you wade through the inevitable smut and low quality porno, will reveal that a number of trees fall into this category. That is, their fruits, or leaves, or flowers, by all accounts, and there's no nancying around here with with "almosts" and "just abouts" - these lovely bits of tree smell like Gism.

    Now the position of king sperm tree is hotly contested, some say the Carob, Ceratonia siliqua, some say the tree of heaven, Ailanthus altissima, and indeed, these trees do smell like the end of the Universe, but none is quite so wretch worthy as the Chinese chestnut, Castanea molissima, whose inflorescences, to quote a particular botanical website, "produce a pungent, displeasing odor, like that of human semen."

    It's probably the smell of Captain Sky's "super sperm" carried by the wind from whatever location he's at...Or the smell of a dirty overworked hooker passing by on the stroll...

    speaking of which, my nuts just came!































    i ordered 5 lbs of raw almons on line for $25. They're very good for you and thats half what they charge for them in the store.

    Wet asphalt can smell like sperm + old man piss.

    I was having second thoughts about the seemingly nice dude who was working with me, scraping up said odorific crap.

    absolutely there are one or more tree species in LA that reek (like a sweaty mans balls and/or straight up semen) at certain times, any LA strutter who has walked around the city would be able to confirm this. i dont know what its called but the one that produces the bright pink/red spikey/furry flowers seems to be the main culprit. We always called them "Ball Trees".

    Working outside for a time got me to experience some of this, as well as some plants that smell like great things. One plant, don't remember the name, smells like Super Golden Crisp. Some deck varnish smells like maple syrup (exactly, not kinda).
    Working outside really got me to recognize odd smells like the smell of certain metals and chemicals.


    WARNING: Gross discussion after this point...

    To get even more personal, and related to this concept, I know if a woman is experiencing her period by smelling anywhere near her. Iron is exuded everywhere on female skin and hair during this time. It involves an immune response to protecting females from infection when ,uh, ehhem. Iron is the "great facilitator" in increasing the likelihood of bacterial/viral infection.

    They had that for the dishes w/ exotic ingredients (bird's nest, hasma aka dried frog fallopian tubes, etc).
