99.99% of what I've heard from the label has been hot garbage.is it crack $?

    Hi-Tek (suckered alot of people into buying this release)
    GZA (when his next album is released)

    Besides that I think they do what indies like ABB do, sell a majority of their product overseas.

    polyrhythm and sa-ra were both mad decent. their biggest problem is their marketing/pr depts... completely unreliable. hooking up with giant step was probably the smartest thing they could've done...

    I think they are a fairly succesful indie. Jedi Mind Tricks pushes some units. Dont hate.

    Acts that are a decade late and 12.99 short. Or Rap Artist a cater to indy rock fans or fairweather college rap fans.

    Now that Koch has become semi-respectable, BabyGrande is basically the new Koch.

    GZA = Support by Wu fans which are fairly militant about supporting even the furthest offshoot of Wu-Tang. Hence SRC putting out a new Wu album this summer.

    I would say that 98% of this board is not the babygrande audience so this the discussion on the label is going to be pretty skewed. They are like a smaller version of Rhymesayers and have a pretty similar audience.
