15 years ago, I remember thinking this was the worst schitt ever. It looks like NWA walked into the taping of a Revlon commercial.

Also, check out the "blink or you'll miss it" subliminal porn from homegirl at 3:33:

Hope she stayed away from Eazy.

I like how the shots of Dre are filmed like an NWA video and then they cut to Gerardo playing the flute.

Jimmy Z is the one that you see on the F L U T E.

YO. I BOUGHT THIS WHEN I WAS IN THE BAY LAST FALL. MAYBE FROM GM WITH YOU OVER MY SHOULDER. OR MAYBE JINX'S GARAGE...

  • This is clearly the best collaboration/team Dre has ever had the pleasure to be a part of.

This is the way I see it...in this order...

    1. Dre and Jimmy Z
    2. Dre and the rest of NWA
    3. Dre and Snoop

What about the West Coast Rap All-Stars???

After realizing I was into rap music, a co-worker of mine asked "you got any old school rap?" Being he was younger than me, I asked him what kind of old school rap he was referring to. His serious as a heart attack answer....C&C Music Factory.

I played the "Funky Flute" 12" at Raj's Soulstrut Palace get-together in 2001 after picking it up in RVA on the way up to Pennsylvania. Nobody complained.

Marky Mark's song must come as a revelation to him then.
