    progressive candidate

i voted for fattah and i think he was, by far, the most "progressive" candidate if you are talking in terms of social issues. my vote wasn't decided based on one issue, but advocating "stop and frisk" didn't push nutter any higher on my list.

last night i was in the art museum area handing out flyers at a voting spot for a friend of mine who ran for common pleas court (polls aren't official, but it looks like he is in). there was A LOT of paid Knox people there...probably 1 per every 5 people that voted. a co-worker was working a voting place in center city and told me that there were fotb chinese folks who didnt speak english that were walking in and just saying "Knox" or "i vote Knox". apparently, knox paid them $20 a piece for their votes.
