James Brown is OG, clean local pressings of the RB Greaves & Atlantic Live aren't simple finds, Rance Allen's are off to a friend who appreciates them more than I will. 45s Came across a bunch of unplayed Sansu/Tower/OKeh/Jubilee/Sidewalk/UA promos so I split them with my girl, she got some great Sansu & Tower titles.

Tower never really pops up for me around here. One of these days I'm going to get out to SF and visit my brother, and I want to stock up. But is the city as rife with Tower records as I imagine? Probably not, but what's the deal, Bay area heads?
i paid $50 (canadian of course) , the dude thought it was broken because the light didn't work when he switched it on. He was wrong. It works perfectly except for the A flat on the lowest octave , but i can probably get that fixed. Ill analog strings for dayz.
+ a hot religious record called 'Apocalypse - Sometime..Someplace' . heavy guitar and drums on this one, with really good horn arrangements .
I WILL OFFER YOU MEDIAN POPSIKE MARKET VALUE + 2 QUARTS OF HOMEMADE GOAT'S MILK + 2 DAYS AT MY TIMESHARE IN YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO + A SKULL SNAPS REISH JOINT....
The East Moline Truckers "(Get A) Grip On It" / "Don't Come Around" (Blue Hour): A-side is horn heavy, instrumental funk. The flipside has nice psych pop backing with country-like vocals. I don't have any on this except it's out of Milwaukee.
The Platters "I Love You 1,000 Times"
Orchestra Harlow "El Judio Maravilloso" (Fania, 75): A shrinkwrapped NM- Fania in L.A...wow. I really like "Latin Roots"
Mike Burke "Bathing In The Raw" (Pajulqr, early 70s?): Oddball, white man soul out of Los Angeles. A stash of these seem to have been broken.
Freeport City Sounds "Old Man Times" (FCS)...Bahaman trio with funky title track and the Paul Simon cover. Autographed. My second copy.
that pzazz and sansu titles are worth some dough. nice finds. whats the jimmy london sound like? never heard that one before.
One side has the northern stomp thing going on, it's ok, not gritty or raw though. Can't remember what the other side is like because I just needle dropped it in the store so far.
call me ishmael...after trying to deal with crack smoking Brits wanting no less than $225 for this, the ever reliable long tall simon hooked me up for a reasonable two-digit price...compare and save...easily one of the best and coolest 45 dealer dudes out there...

Listened to the Jimmy London last night after work, One side is a stomper with nice guitar fills, other side is a ballad, still nice though, I don't really know him at all, but the vocals aren't super raw, kinda country sounding almost, not all bad though. Apparently that Noel Odom 45 on Tower can sell for a little bit of $$ too. The Robby Fortson on Pzazz is really nice. My girlfriend got some nice Major Lance's, Lee Dorsey/Betty harris on Sansu & a Curly Moore on Sansu as well as some others I am blanking on at the moment.

It must be hard not to grip half that stash
to your household. Nice to find records people
are lining up to buy, though.
