I mean, we already know who PEES sitting down, but do any of you let your cheeks rest while the 'nics flex?I just moved all my shit out of my bedroom into my rec room and it's set up so I could sit or stand, but damn if I don't feel all stupid while seated. It's like my hands and arms don't work properly and no matter how high I set the chair I still feel like a little kid playing with Daddy's toys. (Feel free to *PASUE* that one if you feel it's necessary.)Anyways, S>STAND UP SIT DOWN and let your voice be heard!Herm

when I do happy hour(Firday's at 6-10) I usually catch myself sitting down with my headphones on. The crowd usually consists of old folks and sometimes they get down!! But I always live the older black man who gives me the most amazing compliments. Means more to me honestly than the whiteys. Sayin.

I think I might upgrade to retirement homes soon. Call it "nostalgia". Gyeeeeeeeeah.

But yeah, sometimes a bitch gotta sit down.

that's how Q-bert became scratch master. He got in a car accident and had to sit at home all day. I've seen lots of videos of him sitting and scratching. It seems to have no effect on him, standing or sitting. I can't sit down. Like you said, your arms feel weird.

The first time I saw Q-bert in person he really was like the Yoda of scratching. It makes sense that he could scratch sitting down 'cause of how short he is. I see all these taller DJ dudes that are like hunchbacks. Being hunched over turntables or an mpc all day aint that conducive to good posture, don't I know it! I definitely feel weird sitting down and trying to cut.

Anybody seen the clip of Q-Bert scratching on that protable turntable out the back of a car? Something about it made me think of a porno.........

I've seen that shit, the QFO video. Is it the one where he has his jeep parked on the beach with his shirt open? Then all these fly Hawaiian female DJ's come over and scratch in their swimsuits? It's like bangbus for DJ's. Scratchbus....

when i used to do radio, i would sit down. It did effect my djing a bit, but i wasnt stressin it. Also when i did clubs, where i was just strictly mixing, nothing fancy, i would also sit down.

lets say if im doing a bboy battle, where i am more energetic, and have to double up a whole lot, i stand fo sho

Sitting down in an actual chair doesn't seem practical for actually mixing. especially if you're playing actual records, with the switching, and the refiling.

You microwave dudes could probably get away with a stool in the DJ booth, right? since you aren't going over to your record bag all the time? then you can at least rest your dogs, but you're still ready to take quick action.
