I am just back from playing a party...party was good. BTW, your Kutiman remix is fire. But then again, raising children is much more important than partying on a friday night

Right now I am drinking a Michelob and getting ready to pull out a small stack of records.

    The ideal Friday night.

I'm watching the Warriors game for now. After the game, I'm gonna burn one and get back into my ongoing project of rehabbing these old "good idea--bad execution" beats.

Anybody seen the new Radio Shack "Go Digital" commercial
where dude's girlfriend is gonna leave him cause he has
records all over his house, so he furiously runs around
ripping everything before she returns and finds all the
records gone, replaced by an MP3 player? I don't know if
it was "funny" but it was a little sobering to see dude's
house and be like "oof - that looks just like my crib" and
it's supposed to be an extreme parody example ...

Who did the Fat Albert Theme Song? I have the artist on my MP3 as "Theme Song," and THAT'S not right.

Yeah that was great! Bobby Flay is a straight up bitch! I can't stand his shows. He tries way too hard.

Its nice staying in on the weekend. I think it has a lot ot do with being a bartender. Sometimes life isnt always about partying.

    Iron Chef

The most hip-hop show on TV. "Step in the Arena" should be the theme song, though, for real.

yes, but i wouldn't know where to begin.
as for bobby flay, he puts a lot of work into what he does but it seems to be fuled by a desire to compete rather than a love for what he is actually producing. a lot of chefs get caught up in technique and wind up in the same place. it's not that they don't love the food, they just seem to apply an "always and never" approach to cooking that inevitably limits them and in a way distances them from someone who is truly inspiried by the ingredients that they have in front of them. don't know if that makes sense.
but this is a late night thread after all.
