    hell yea! hyacinths are my favourites, them and gladiolas, but gladiolas have no scent.

    No, you're thinking of the gold fish

    You are supposed to keep the sabzi till sometime in April (13?) then make a wish and toss in in a river.

    No, you're thinking of the gold fish

    You are supposed to keep the sabzi till sometime in April (13?) then make a wish and toss in in a river.

    now you're thinking of the goldfish! in the old days (and i guess today in places where folks can), they would return the fish back to the river/pond...now, yea, we keep them til they pass (we once had goldfish that lasted for two No Rooz).

    the sabzeh, like the rest of the haft-seen, is kept til the day of seez-dah beh-dar...13 days after.
