may I quickly ask if "I'm not Playin" was originally a 45-only release ?

there was never an original 12" for it was there?

    thanks.

    No, there's definitely a 12"... never seen a 45.

    real? ok.

I thought Josh was playing a 45 version of it on Product Placement, and mistakenly assumed that it was only on a 45.

perhaps he was playing the 12" then, I just didn't see clearly.

  • it saw both 45 and 12 release.

Nope, you can get one for about $20 and, if you're going to be buying any rap 12"s from that era, you definitely should--this schitt destroys 99% of the "random rap" out there.

It was a major revelation when I found my first copy... I was amazed that something so good had remained so obscure (this was ten years ago; it's obviously received a lot more attention since then).
