EMERGENCY! - this shit is some avant-garde tape loop
action ... if it wasn't a major TV theme, I would call it
    "private press insanity!"

Yo, what about Hill Street Blues?

Kinda cheese, but I like it. Reminds me of simpler times.

  • How much synth is too much synth?
Though the narration at the end ...

  • And maybe the song ain't that great but I used to cherish up this show:

    Oh Didi McCall ...

  • Though, what the hell am I talking about? The season 1 intro is much tougher ... and has much tighter "metal licks" ...

This jam was short and sweet. I couldn't find just the theme so here's a complete episode.

    Some quick side notes:

1 - I just found the "WKRP" theme on 45 the other day. I really want to work it in to a set.

2 - The Airwolf theme was the shit, but could Airwolf take Blue Thunder? Dana Carvey, Dick Butkis, Buba Smith and Whisper Mode. Pretty un-fuckwithable.

3 - I went back and looked up some old american-ized japanime Cartoon intros that I remember being hype (Wheeled Warroirs, Silverhawks, Mighty Orbots, etc...) but now they all sound like Richard Marx B-sides.

Resurrecting this topic because I finally got around to uploading the intro to 'Madame Sin', a '72 TV pilot/movie with Bette Davis and Robert Wagner. It's a moody instrumental with nice drums.

anudder cosign...sold an Emergency LP(kiddie LP with stories on it) awhile back...wish I would of kept it as it had some (uncredited) Swiss hard-rock raer on it (Toad) and some hittin' funk also...unfortunately it was all snippets with stories inbetween the music.
