While we're tossing sexist value judgements around, I have to say I've always preferred Kelly to Beyonce. Beyonce's fine and all, and she's a charismatic live performer (as a member of DC rather than a soloist), but Kelly has this round-the-way-girl quality about her that I find really attractive.
Incidentally, I was reading somewhere the other day (allhiphop.com, I think) that SI has had a lot of negative correspondence about the Beyonce cover, with people threatening to cancel subscriptions and saying things like "I thought this was the swimsuit issue, not the ghetto issue".

this is odd since a)the swimsuit issue always has different flavor ladies in it and b) tyra was on the cover back in '97. i don't doubt that beyonce on the cover brought out the racist in a few okie nascar fans or whoever, but i bet this is more of an example of the allhiphop news team making a mountain out of a molehill.
