You know the drill, post new shit you're working on. I made this beat tonight, only got it on my myspace page for the momentwww.myspace.com/discjockeygBudget recordingsG
heres something new im not that hype on, but could develop into something nice. left the sennheisers at my friend's [i almost said the lab [whoops]] so i had to mix on $5 walgreens headphones. the lady and i are in the process of making an ep of children's songs with her on violin and vocals, and me producing, so i think she's going to add her touch to this.
I really like the melodies and overall sound and effects on the melodic elements. The drums weren't quite knockin'... but I don't know if that's because that's how you wanted it or the $5 headphone mix. But either way, I still like what I hear.
Some of the highs sound a bit harsh though. And the switch from the two main melodic progressions could be smoothed out a bit somehow. The switch feels abrupt as is.
I'd like to hear the ep of children's songs!! My girl right now has been playing piano since she was a kid and I'm trying to get her tp work on some music with me. She's always like "I don't know! I'm not creative like that...!" but I think it would be a lot of fun. Best of luck with the ep! Get at me if you want a remix!!!
You remind me of when I started making beats in high school. I'm not sure exactly how I mean for you to take that. It's nostalgic and fun for me. But probably pretty boring for everyone else.

I don't mean to clown.
Eh, I dont take any harm from that. It's not like I'm trying to become a producer, its just fun listenin to records and when something comes out I'll start working on it real quick. the approach beat I did in about 30 mins, so you can tell I was really grueling for super production.
BTW, this aint no fuckin tea chit-chattery, post that new shit
New to the forum. Beats from Minneapolis. "Feud II" was a beat battle in which certain samples had to be used. The other ones show my style a bit more.
