I recently found out that there was a 60's version of who's that lady and I was wondering if was released as a single? easy to find? stuff like that. Thanks.

It was on United Artists, and was on a single (although EMI has released it on quite a few comps since then).

the 45 is not one that you see all that often.

in that early version you can hear how the song was sort of 'inspired by'( or, a rip-off of, if you will...) - the impressions 'gypsy woman'

Yeah, my copy is on an eighties reissue album on a UK label called Stateside (Let's Go!).

Guess the Impressions repaid the favor when they recorded "Can't Satisfy," which is the spitting image of the Isleys'"This Old Heart Of Mine."

UA single, REAL early... and dope

Haven't tried shopping for it yet soI have no idea what it goes for, I just learned about this last year

it's really good. I wouldn't mind snatching it up.

I heartily endorse the flip side, "My Little Girl," as well.

Anyone got a sound clip? I'm very curious to hear this version.

Who's That Lady is a big tune.
