Don't have my records in front of me but Donald Byrd "Ethiopian Knights" and Les McCann "invitation to openness" come to mind.

Good god yes, Ethiopian Knights was the first that came to mind. Little Rasti never lets up for the whole 17 and a half minutes.

That Webster Lewis is superb as well.

The Jazzberry Patch title track is at least 20 minutes of decent fusion.

    CAN - Bel Air

Definitly one of my favorite songs of all time. Almost hitting the 20 minute mark. This song floats in grabs your attention then floats away then comes back with the funky german boombap that only Can delivers then it floats away again.. Turns into this progressive jam with a jazzy outro.. floating away again..and then you can faintly hear them playing further away until fadeout.

For me it never gets boring, and it floats right around the subconcious.

    - spidey

Yea, that's a good one. Also "You Doo Right" off the first LP. That may be closer to 12 min though.

I have an affinity for long-ass songs.

Same here, if it filled up a whole side, I was happy.

I was late to this thread but I wanted to name a few of mine, going through various genres:

    Herbie Hancock-Chameleon
    Herbie Hancock-Wandering Spirit Song
    Herbie Hancock-Sleeping Giant
    Herbie Hancock-Hornets
    Blind Faith-Do What You Like
    The Rascals-Boom
    The Rascals-Cute
    Yes-The Gates Of Delirium
    Yes-Close To The Edge
    Loggins & Messina-Vahevala (Live)
Jimi Hendrix Experience-1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be
Carlos Santana/Buddy Miles-Free Form Funkafied Filth
    Prince-America

There's a great 19 minute take of "Escape-Ism" on the CD of Hot Pants. Close runner up is the 13:45 take of "More Peas" by Fred Wesley & The JB's. Tower Of Power had a 23 minute version of "Knock Yourself Out" on the Live And In Living Color album.
