Tho I haven't found Shore even remotely funny since the early 90's, I kinda felt bad for the dude.

sounds like there were a whole lot of gorillas there. the crowd noise sounded like the Good Ol' Boys Western bar scene from the Blues Brothers. I didn't know there were actually places where dudes in cowboy hats will yell out "hit eem! hit eem!" to another dude a cowboy hat right before he decks the entertainment. i thought that was only on TV. Somewhere there's a screenwriter scribbling furiously in a notebook.

Subject: Media Inquiries into alleged assault of comedian Pauly Shore
Date: December 12, 2006
Earlier this morning, investigators of the Crimes Against Persons Unit of the Odessa Police Department began receiving inquiries into an event which allegedly occurred on the evening of December 9, 2006. On that date, comedian Pauly Shore was performing at the ???8 Street Comedy Club??? in our city.
These inquiries were stimulated over a video clip which is circulating on the internet which displays Shore arguing with a western attired heckler who comes onto the stage and subsequently assaults Mr. Shore. The alleged suspect is then escorted from the stage by an Odessa Police Officer. The clip was apparently video taped by someone in the audience.
After viewing the video, the officer who was employed at the club in an off-duty capacity, was contacted by investigators. The officer reported he had met with Mr. Shore prior to his set, and was asked to participate in the skit. The officer stated that the skit went as designed and that Shore was not injured in the designed skit.
The officer reports that after the show, Pauly Shore conducted his autograph session and had his photograph taken with the alleged ???assaulter.???
There is no further investigation into this incident.

I worked doing production back in college, and Andy Dick pulled that same joke only he PUKED on a big biker who was ultimately in cahoots with him. Andy did not let us, the production crew, in on the joke, and so we were confused as hell when the puke flew. I thought I was witnessing a comedic nuclear meltdown. I could not believe my fucking eyes. I thought the biker was going to make Andy eat his own testicles. Turned out the whole thing was set up. I thought it was pretty awesome, but The higher-ups, the Regents, were not amused.
he made a mockumentary 2 years back called Pauly shore is Dead. The entire premise was to have a film crew go around asking celebrities and fans what their thoughts were on Shores recent passing.
look at the kramer video off youtube. that shit could get your buzz going real fast with some crazy video when it hits the internet. Pretty weak way to try and revive your career but that dude has been in the toilet since encino man. Same thing with that asswipe screech making pornos. Dudes are hungry as fuck to try and get back on.

Yeah, you're right. While that's definitley true in DA STREETZ (ax Archaic), I was just looking to justify wanting to see him get punched in the face.
I loathe Shore as much as the next person, but i thought Pauly Shore is Dead was very funny. It was self-effacing and unexpectedly witty. I recommend it.
