How Do i record Youtube movies again?

PLease help, i am confused and must save some of this stuff on my hard drive.

    that javi guy is offering a downloading website and a software tool for free. you need the video url for the website downloading (youtube tells you what the url is).

    i just know how to do it using firefox...with a plugin called videodownloader which creates an *.flv on your hd which you (might) need to convert with another freeware proggy to *.avi or whichever format you prefer.

    that's what javi is offering.

    1) save the video as .flv (just type in a file name and .flv when you are downloading a clip to your hard disk)
    2) download a flv player (javi has links to several freeware players)
    3) if needed convert the flv file to a avi or whatever via a video converter (again, there are links on javi's site)

    Or you could just use a video screen capture program. Prob. the simplest way to do it.
    Quality's always going to be shit though.

    just record your computer screen with a video camera like those bootleg dvds
