Sorry that Kellee Patterson find post was a thinly veiled classified. Felt bad so I edited.... Serious co-sign it is a very dope record, but it's a double so....
it's pretty amazing. I really wasn't expecting much from it so I left behind a copy of their 2nd lp (it was scratchy) when I got that one. Kinda regretting it now.
good week (and yes I did manage to put a few records out in the shop):
Brainticket - Cottonwoodhill (Bellaphon) John Cale and Terry Riley - Church of Anthrax (CBS) Geroge Baker Selection - Little Green Bag (Colossus) Sam and Dave - I Thank You (Atlantic) a record that should be easy to find... (Ace) 80's comp Snooks Eaglin - New Orleans 1960-61 (Sundown) Stravinsky w/ Ernest Ansermet conducting) - Rites of Spring (London) The Rennaissance - Bacharach Baroque (Ranwood) surprisingly good Mothers Finest - S/T (Epic) saw these guys New Years 1979 at the old Agora Ballroom in ATL Bobby Callender - Rainbow (MGM) Fela - Unnecessary Begging (Makossa) Som Tres - S/T (Odeon) completed trade from Rio. thanks to DJ Pancake.
7"s-
The Gestures - Run, Run, Run (Soma) The Sensations - Let Me In (Chess) Symphonic Metamorphisis - Reach Out (London)
Such a cool 45, but amazingly no-one wants it. I had triples at one point & ended up throwing the other two away because I couldn't even give them to anyone let alone sell them. I guess everyone that's into that stuff probably has it already??
Check the Linval Thompson lp in the left corner, there is a business card for an old record store here in Seattle glued to the cover. No address, just a phone number. Been meaning to give it a ring, maybe the owner still has the same number and is sitting on a house full of his old stock. A pipe dream I know, but stranger things have happened. A more likely scenario, is an awkward and short conversation between me and whom ever has the # now... I'll keep you posted.
i went digging with llmod1 from vinylvul*ure for three days in germany. i could only afford to buy four records. i would have bought much more, but i need to save some money for other things. llmod1 found some great records!
the only things i got (for cheap):
Demon Fuzz on Dawn Wolfgang Dauner - Rishka's Soul (original first pressing) Donny Hathaway - Everything Is Everything (original in NM condition) Emtidi - s/t in Thorofon (I'm going to put this on sell it on eBay)

googling it did lead me to a website devoted to whistling on records though.

It's probably the most amazing thing I've unknowingly stumbled upon all year. Totally ridiculous.
