    Funny story about Dave Pike- Manhattan Latin.My buddy was interviewing him one time and the topic arose about the Manhattan Latin LP.If You have ever seen the cover up close,you would know the woman sprawled out on Daves Vibes is hotter than hot,a real 10.My buddy was just abou to go on about how much he loved that lp just because of that girl,when Dave goes ballistic about how much he fuckin hated it because Decca threw some hooker all up on his vibes.Straight hooker vibes Dude!

    i was just about to ask if it was from hpb. i thought i recognized the stickers, but it was a little blurry in the pics. maybe that was the point?

    They were from one of our 15 Half Price stores......19 of em were $0.98 and 5 were $2.98....we are very lucky here in Big D.

    please to explain. have wondered about the source of this music. each songs sounds like a different band, session, studio etc.. good shit though. had a copy for a while and just found this dub. put it on that rehash site 2+ years ago:

    The last cut on one side, and possibly both sides, are straight exact repros of cuts from the rare Kaleidescope LP....they sound earlier than the rest of the LP.

    the mambos/jazz on ozzie torrens however are very nice.
