It's been so dry out here lately I'd have better luck finding fucking gold in a palm tree than decent records.

You know, why bother anymore? Ralph, Rape, & Co will just schitt on you for doing so.
Oh yah, don't post non-raers, either.
Good finds!
Are we going to have problems?
too bad, I cant say the same for ol simon and garf
Are you serious?
I was actually going to start a thread yesterday. Just got caught up... buying records.
Me and Simon didn't son you, Pearson did. You apologized. So plaese to keep these names out of your mouth.
Toodles!
So you expect the people to believe that "anthonypearson" is not simply one of your aliases?
Mark is still stewing in anger because people don't jock his collections of shwag I guess.
I bought quantity of several Wackies titles, reupped on Negril LPs, scooped a mono blue note in the morning and flipped it in the afternoon, received James Mason and Marva Whitney LPs in the mail, and sold about $1000 worth of records yesterday. My deepest apologies to all that I didn't give a play-by-play on soulstrut. Hopefully this will end the undoubtedly great suspense as to whether or not I bought records over the weekend.
I'll try to get some pictures together when I get a minute. In the meantime check out the Negril LP on waxidermy.
Carry on.
No one asked for your play-by-play, player.
Sounds like Good Records had a good weekend though, good to hear.

Patrick Brennan Ensemble- Soup (private jazz ish, was kind of expecting but it's actually pretty good!)
V/A- Unite (private LP from San Jose, looks to be late 60s. Handwritten paragraph on the back about "the movement" and how to press your own records. I did a couple needledrops at the store and didn't recognize 'em, so I assumed it was a compilation of local stuff, but I got it home and now think it's just some pirated/bootleg thing, because there's definitely some Moody Blues and Buffalo Springfield on here)

Steve Tibbetts- Yr
csaba dese?? - ultraviola (pepita)
alice coltrane - illuminations

Yea for sure it is. feeling that track heavily!
the New-Hi-Notes album is really cool too, it's on Soultown records and seems to pretty obscure... does anyone know anything about it? the Experimencion (cuban record) is really nice as well , and the 'Disco & Soul Dances' has a HOT cover of Brass Construction 'Movin' as well as some other good stuff (fatback band covers).
You gotta post up an mp3 of Bus Stop.
Just a few odds and ends this week - the Gamble comp is worth
the price for a rare Frankie Beverly joint alone, but there's a
few real nice, tough to find tracks on there. Afro National is
a pretty scarce LP on Makossa with a couple funky female vocal tracks.
