  • woah...doubles of "Let's Go Swimming"!? promos no less! i have a promo as well...but only one copy. one of the best 12"s of all time!

  • on a RR note, I broke down and bought an Expedit today. It's really nice to not have piles of records all over my room for the first time in a long time, but it's killing me to think of all the records I could've bought with the money...

Definitely a good look. Man, I am gonna be pushing it to fit all my records into 2 expedits when I move shortly. Having well organised records in shelves kicks ass - don't think about how many records you coulda bought with the $ - think how much space you've just bought yourself!

not a thousand quality, but most were from my one large score
except for the shaft, sweetback, word jazz, major force berry meditation 12" (storm trooper helmet), Nico + Leslie Butler, and the Hi Five was from an estate sale.

I will post more 12"s and weird stuff later...

    Nice ones Mark!

  • How`s that Leslie Butler, Mark? Some original penned funk up in there?

    Two questions:
1-How much does an expedit cost?
2-Is it easy to assemble or will I have to hire someone with technical expertise to
    put it together?

  • the 5x5 model was $180. It's a piece of cake to put together, I'm not sure how long it took me because I took a dinner break in the middle, but I'd guess 1.5-2 hours.

  • Last weeks arrivals...

Lou Garno Trio - Chicken In A Basket
Clea Bradford - My Love Is a Monster
Vicki Anderson - If You Can't Give Me What I Want
Don Soul Train Campbell - Campbell Lock
    Dave Lewis - Searchin'

Plus, in related news, my lovely wife got me an Ipod Video for my birthday.

    Thank you, sir.
I think I saw 'em on Ikea's website.
I need to fix this eyesore of record stacks.

  • That Eddie Fischer "Third Cup" LP is a long-time favourite of mine. Still can??t find "The Next 100 Years" though, and I??ve wanted it for years.

Yah, it's pretty decent. The cover of "Shaft" and "Aquarius" stand out, so do a few other tracks. In the vein as Overton Berry but imagine it Jamaican style..that's the best I can describe it.

Pretty nice, makes me wanna keeep it....

NAAAH. Check for it on the'bay soon

Saying, I still need 100 years myself. This is my first Third Cup, too. I dig it!
